Kristen Johnston Up for Absolutely Fabulous

Kristen Johnston might be getting fabulous for Fox's new project. According to Variety, Johnston is in negotiations to star in Fox's remake of the British series, Absolutely Fabulous. Johnston took part in a table read for the pilot script on Friday and Fox picked up the series shortly afterwards. If she does sign on, it is said that she will play the role of Edina, a role that Jennifer Saunders - who is executive producing the remake - made famous. Kathryn Hahn (Revolutionary Road) took place in the table read as well, although it was said there was no guarantee that anyone at the table read would be cast. No production schedule was given for the series. |
