I am surprised Sony allowed this interview to be included on the DVD. She says nothing good about her experience on the show, the only positive thing she basically said was the other actors who worked with her on the show were all very professional. I can relate to the fact that the concept of a "flying nun" was silly, even for the late 60's. And it's laughable that in some of the scenes when she's "flying" you can see the wires that she's attached to. But the show has a certain nostalgic charm to it, the episodes are pleasant to watch and they entertain for the most part. Sally Field may not have enjoyed doing this show, but it boosted her career and I imagine she must have enjoyed the paychecks because she did the show for three years. Hopefully the third and final season will soon be available on DVD.

She said that cause it wasn't a good time in her life at the time. She clears it up when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She said she did a talk show during the time she did The Flying Nun and was told she was so bad, that combined with her other troubles gave her a complex. I liked how she said Madelyn Sherwood stuck up for her against producers when she'd had enough for that day.

Miss Field for years has put down the show but it was a very good acting experience for her. I m just happy all these years later she said "yes" do doing TFN because I could not picture anyone else playing the part of lovable Sr. Bertrille.
