As someone who likes the show, it probably should have ended a season or so ago. David E Kelley shows seem to always burn out.

I actually think this is the best season of the show we've had in years. Seasons 3 and 4 were definitely a notch or 2 down from the first 2 years, but in season 5, the show is really getting back on its game. It's too bad to see it end now.

GRIEVANCE TIME FOR THE LARROQUETTE GIRL.
I still wonder WHY IS JOHN ON THIS SHOW other than being a PET FAVORITE of DAVEYKINS? By the fourth or fifth episode of last season I gave up because Carl was just THERE. If they were going to bring back Joey Heric, they should have brought back Joey Heric, not this dietary fiber Carl Sack guy. I actually was curious to see if Joey succeeded as a lawyer without killing anyone else. At least John made up for it with Roan Montgomery. |
