what the hell happened to this show - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

this show was great! now they got rid of woodcocks, an essential part of the show... and i just found out watching the new episode that they replaced allison actress Krysten Ritter with Laura Clery....??? grrrrrr. someone please explain...

ps im too lazy to search the forum...

From what I've read, the actress formerly playing their daughter opted to leave the series to pursue acting in movies.

As far as the Woodcocks, when they are seen it's usually in a Season 2 or pre-strike episode that was held over and now shown (earlier eps that are seen for the first time, out of order). It does appear that they are gone for good -- unfortunately, as most fans loved the Woodcocks on this series.
