Talking Who Watched "Cybill" Before Oxygen?...

Did anyone ever watch "Cybill" when it originally air on CBS? I was very young when it first came out, and I didn't start religiously watching television until 1999. Of course, "Cybill" ended in 1998, so I do not recall ever watching it when it originally aired. How 'bout y'all?

I had a stupid crush on Christine Baranski [I have no clue why], so I watched it basically every week for a few seasons, and then I just kinda lost interest. It really was a good show during it's first 2 or 3 seasons, but after that it just didn't thrill me.

My parents watched it when it aired in the mid-90s. I saw a few episodes but I don't remember much.

heya,

I was really busy in the 90's with law school and didn't watch tv. At all, not even Friends (as one about the same age as Jennifer Anniston).

NOW, I catch Cybill every day. It wouldn't have appealed to me in the 90's because I was so busy with my studies and being more like one in the Friends series. But as an atty now, I can say that the show reminds me of life as an adult. Friends is too immature for me but Cybill is totally identifiable to me.

Why oh why couldn't the show have lasted a few more years so I could enjoy it in its prime? It is so funny and true that I find myself thinking about it throughout the day. Talk about art resembling life! Also, I am Maryann half of the time!

I watched it in it's original run on CBS and watch it whenever possible on Oxygen. I'm going to watch it in a few minutes actually!

I too have a stupid crush on Christine Baranski...hehe. She's old enough to be my mother (or aunt)..hehe..

Yet...There's something there that makes me want her to stalk me instead of Doctor Dick...(lol)... j/k.

Actually she's back on TV in some NBC show..I'll be watching because of her..

I think Christine Baranski looks like a "WHO". You know, The Grinch Stole Christmas - she could be Cindy Lou Who's mom!

The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Yes, I watched it too when it orginally aired, but I probably missed some of the episodes.
