The very first season (which began on ABC, on Sept. 8, 1973) introduced teenagers Wendy and Marvin and their dog named Wonder Dog.

I might be in the minority here, but I actually preferred Wendy and Marvin to
the Wonder Twins. Although they had no super powers, they seemed to talk
and act more like real teenagers. (And, for me, Wonder Dog was a little bit
easier to take than Blip, the space monkey.)

Oops! My bad ... I had my space monkeys mixed up. Blip was the one on
another H-B series, Space Ghost.

Sherry Alberoni was Wendy, and Frank Welker was both Marvin and Wonder Dog.

Wendy and Marvin were from the original 'Super Friends'(early 70's), The Wonder Twins came along I think during the 'The All-New Super Friends Hour'.

Personally I couldn't stand Wendy and Marvin, I thought they were extremely annoying.
