Default Cybill Shepherd wants to do Moonlighting again

Will "Moonlighting" sparks fly again for CYBILL SHEPHERD and BRUCE WILLIS?

Rumors of a remake of the hit '80s TV show have been making the rounds in Hollywood, and Cybill tells ET that she'd welcome another opportunity to try out her onscreen chemistry with her former co-star.

"Why not? I'd love to," she tells ET's THEA ANDREWS. "If we remake 'Moonlighting,' Bruce Willis can still play David Addison. Hey Bruce, I'm ready to go to work again with you, baby!"

"I am so hot for Bruce Willis," she adds with a smile. "He's still hot."

It just wouldn't be the same. Kind of like John Travolta & Olivia Newton John doing Grease again, they could do it but it wouldn't have the same feel to it.

Sometimes it's better to leave things in the past.

Such mixed emotions on something like this. How awesome would it be. New magic made.
But once the magic is gone, can you ever get it back?
If they somehow used all the original writers and the same exact style they once had. Not try to modernize it at all, or add something new to get the younger generation involved. I think it would work. But the odds of them doing that are zil.

It's fun to think about though.

I wonder if people, especially younger ones could seperate the block buster Bruce Willis to the David Addison role. I suppose it could work, because we had to at one time seperate the David Addison to the block buster roles.

While it's true it wouldn't be exactly the same, I wouldn't mind that so much. After all, it's been almost 20 years. I'd like to see what they would do with Moonlighting now. Why not? I think it would be fun!

It would also be interesting to see if younger Bruce fans who haven't watched ML would enjoy his reprisal of the role and nice if Cybill even gained some fans by returning to what I think is her most famous role.

Hmmm.... I loved the show in the beginning and a movie "reunion" wouldn't be a crazy idea. Most of the characters have done movies anyway and done right, it could be a big hit. Especially with the original characters... something that's rare in TV show "movie remakes".
