hey Veronica
Okay, duh me...I didn't list IACM as tops on my list. Those two are smokin' in that episode, so, of course, it's one my favorites. ![]() Hope everyone as a nice Thanksgiving! |

OOOO....I am getting into this board
These are my favorite ten eppys TODAY and they may change, but I doubt it! These arent in order of favorite but in chronilogical order: The Pilot The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice The Man Who Cried Wife Witness for the Execution Big Man on Mulberry Street Atomic Shakespeare ( I still remember the night this aired for the first time) Sam and Dave Maddie's Turn to Cry I am Curious Maddie To Heiress Human I enjoy almost all of the episodes for one reason or another though. Some make me so sad towards the end I cannot bare to watch I know you all feel the same...sad and probably angry like me too!!!xoxo RED

This wasn't easy and the listing fluctuates from time to time but here it is:
the Pilot - How it all began! Funny and romantic. Brother, Can You Spare a Blonde? - Richard Addison. Need I say more? Well, I will. Jealous David! The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice - Bruce and Cybill transported to a hot '40s film noir with big band music. Cybill in a black strapless evening gown singing "I tolja I love ya. Now get out!" David and Maddie kissing as "Zack" and "Rita." All of it - priceless! Witness for the Execution - lots of emoting with feelings not yet admitted, a kiss, and a disheveled serious David. The Son Also Rises - David is just plain cute throughout. Liked how his father, a sweet man, made him nervous. I really I loved how he and Maddie seem like an unofficial couple in their behavior towards one another. Rarely were they like this throughout an entire episode.Big Man on Mulberry Street - (When David discovers her in his hotel room) Cybill's best scene in the series I think and she's had many good ones; David's reaction to Maddie's appearance and his confiding in her for the most part truthfully about his ex-wife. And he's wearing a white t-shirt. And there is an absolutely marvelous dance number! It’s a Wonderful Job – All around charming. Maddie’s reaction to David and…Cheryl Tiegs?! I like how Maddie admitted to her feelings for David and how the guardian angel confirmed it by saying basically that since she had stronger feelings for him than for anyone else her memories of him would be the last to fade. And the Christmassy ending including a happy kiss. Lovely!Maddie's Turn to Cry – Angst and tension. I’m always on the edge of my seat throughout the love triangle arc at the end of season three. I love the gentle kiss and Maddie having a great time throwing milk bottle ‘bombs’. I like how she and David, after a night of ‘moonlighting’ in their night clothes, stroll outside casually during the early morning hours contemplating breakfast. Sweet! I Am Curious…Maddie – Who wouldn’t like this episode? It had the best Maddie / David verbal fight of all time…and much much more! Curiosity might have killed the cat but satisfaction definitely brought him back! Plus “Be My Baby” and it’s a wrap!Maddie Hayes Got Married – This was one the most hilarious episodes ever. Plus, a great kiss and a Maddie meltdown with an apology to David. I couldn’t have asked for more – except an impulsive marriage between the two of them officiated by the hospital chaplain. They were dressed for it, after all. (Does that ever happen in real life?) These are the episodes I liked from the beginning to the end. There are some great scenes in many other episodes that don’t quite fit this bill for whatever reason. For instance, three honorable mentions: Knowing Her (David emoting; Maddie jealous; me loving it); A Trip to the Moon (Lots of emoting; David looking yummy in that sweater; the angsty exchange of genuine “I love you”s; Cybill's and Charles Rocket's performances as Alice and Ed in "The Bluemooners” dream sequence; and of course To Heiress Human (the sparring; David happy and flirting; Maddie giving in )
