Wink Love That Bob episodes

Hi I saw your post about LTB episodes wanted. If I am correct they did many
more episode than 64 of the series. Closer to a 164. I picked up a syndication package from the 1960's that had some titles and episode #'s and synopis.

I first saw the show on it's last network season as a very small child. A couple of years later our new ABC station signed on and needed filler and it was one of
the many barter shows they picked up. So for a year or two I saw episodes in the summer. I was too young to get the sexyness of the show but I knew I liked it.

After the mid 60's I didn't see it again 1985 when the old CBN (Christian Broadcast Channel) began showiing it pre-Nick at Nite. They were also showing Man from UNCLE, Girl from UNCLE, Jack Benny, Phil Silvers, I married Joan, Please Don't Eat the Dasies, I Spy, Dobie Gillis and Run for your life.

I spent most of my time taping the UNCLE shows. After I finished that show (almost complete there was a few they didn't show) I had just started taping the Love That Bob's when they stopped showing classic shows and I had just gotten about 15 LTB's when they stopped.

From what i can figure there is about 20 episodes that not copyrighted they include the 16 you have. I have those from Shokus video and other sources. Most of the 15 or so that I taped are not in that group. Someday I'll figure out titles and #'s and post them.

This is only my second post on the forum. I'm usually busy over on the Grand Comic Database scanning old comics and such and will be ending a big 4 year scanning project this spring!

In fact there was a total of 173 episodes of LOVE THAT BOB, 17 during the half season of 1954-55 and 39 per season during the four full seasons that followed.

I taped quite a few from our local Channel 39 (Dallas) in the late 1980s when they were running 4 episodes per night from 2 AM to 6 AM alternated with BACHELOR FATHER (an inferior show in every way IMO). Unfortunately since I was a starving college student at the time they were taped in EP mode, and don't copy well. Sorry I can't be of help on that front.

I agree, I'd love to see complete seasons on DVD, and complete seasons of BILKO as well, but with quite a few LOVE THAT BOB episodes in the public domain, it's highly unlikely. At least the 16 episode sampler has some of the really good ones (Forgotten Fiancee, The Shiek, the Anna Maria Alberghetti ep., etc.) but I would have loved to have seen the two parter with Jesse White as "Hap" Henderson, or "Bob Batches It", or "Bob and the Ravishing Realtor" with Elena Verdugo, etc. as part of this set.
