Does Swingtown put you in the mind of the early years of Knots Landing? Susan & Bruce Miller remind me of Laura & Richard Avery. Roger & Janet Thompson remind me of Karen & Sid Fairgate and the swingers Tom & Trina Decker remind me of Kenny & Ginger Ward.

yes it does sort of remind me of knots landing it even has the same timeslot knots landing used to have

Yes, it does. I do know Richard Avery had an affair with Abby Fairgate Cunningham after she moved into the cul-de-sac - then she had one with Gary Ewing. So yes, there are definite parallels.
