..the name of the show that was about a family that lived as a 50's tv show in modern times? Does that even make sense?
I'll try to be clearer! The family was from a 50's tv show set ... like the Cleavers ... but existed in the real world with real modern time neighbors? I'm pretty sure it was a one year wonder! It's driving me crazy trying to remember the name! Thanks!

Oh! I just figured it out!!! I guess I posted too quickly!
It was "Hi Honey, I'm Home!" The series centered around a 1950s sitcom family, the Nielsens (who were named in reference to the Nielsen Ratings system), who were relocated by the "Sitcom Relocation Program" to 1990s New Jersey suburbia after their fictional series, Hi Honey, I'm Home, stopped being rerun. Anyone remember that? |

I remember that show! it was the first sitcom to run on both a broadcast and cable network. The show featured guest appearances from classic sitcom stars such as Gale Gordon. I'll always remember Honey Nielsen's famous line "Oh pooh!"

The show was taped in Orlando. I went to a couple of tapings, and
saw the ANN B. DAVIS episode and the GALE GORDON episode done. Lots of fun. |
