Anybody Remember FOX's "The Tick"? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

One of the very few comic book character inspired sitcoms. It failed to capture an audience and only aired for 7 episodes.

Anybody watch this?

I thought it was a great show, as witty as the animated series.

Patrick Warburton was perfect as the Tick.

Unfortunatly, it aired on FOX, so it was destined for early cancalleation.

I remember when it was on. Didn't it air around the same time as Firefly (another quality show that got the shaft by FOX)?

Firefly began the following year after "The Tick was canned. Tick ended in 2002 and Firefly began in 2003.
