Question Mrs. G's short stature

I was watching yet another episode of my all-time favorite sitcom, FOL, and for some reason Mrs. Garrett's (Charlotte Rae) physical stature caught my attention. Never before did I ever notice how short she is. I mean REALLY. Does anyone know the proximatey of her height? I'd like to put it on my website as a "Did You Know?" kinda thing, if and whenever I get that done. Thanks

Sorry I can't find it anywhere. Will let you know if I do though. I am guessing like 5" or 5" 1' somewhere in that range.

All the girls are not that tall. I used to think so. But they are just around the same height which makes them look taller. I used to think Kim Fields was tall but when I saw her on Living Single I realized how short she is compared to everyone else on the show.

I do know Kim fields is only 5 feet tall. And I can't find any of the other ones heights but I'm guessing, Natalie: 5" 2' Jo: 5" 4' Blair: 5" 4' and Mrs. G: 5" Just a guess.

In the 1984 TV Superstars Scrapbook, their heights are listed as:

Charlotte Rae (Mrs. Garrett) 5' 1/2"
Nancy McKeon (Jo) 5' 5"
Mindy Cohn (Natalie) 5' 1/2"
Kim Fields (Tootie) 5' 5"
Lisa Whelchel (Blair) 5' 7"

Charlotte Rae had probably reached her tallest height by then, but the others may have grown an inch or two.

No way is Blair 5' 7" tall.

Charlotte was of an earlier generation where females didn't grow as tall as they do today.

Blair would need these shoes to even hope to reach 5 feet 5 inches.

KIM and CHARLOTTE were exactly the same height: if you watch FOL and see them standing next to each other, you'll notice they are even!

LISA and NANCY are close in height, (although it's hard to tell cos BLAIR wore high hills most of the time, except on the Pilot and season 1, where she wore shorts & skimpy clothes like in 'The Dukes of Hazzard').

Overall, i'd say MINDY, KIM and CHARLOTTE were the smallest!
