Default I hate Ed and all things Ed

They film parts of this lousy show in the towns around where I live. Their production closes the park where I take my dogs, restaurants, and streets. A woman's car was hit by a train a couple of months ago in a neighboring town because they shut down the town center to film and she was more interested in them than her own driving. I hate this show and I hate what it does for this area. I hope they cancel it soon.

Great Guess! Actually, my town does not let that lousy show tape here...I'm guessing you meant Westwood which is 2 towns away from my town (though I wouldn't be surprised if they film in Westfield as well). They film Ed mostly in Westood and Hillsdale (the next town over). Hillsdale is where the train accident was.

They do film in Westfield, NJ (or they have at some points), you can see it in the opening credits. The movie theater is the Rialto on East Broad Street.

Ive also noticed parks and such.

I live in New York City, which is one big studio back lot.

I love "Ed," but I do sympathize with the problems film crews can cause...

I am proud to say I have never gone bowling in my life, stuckyville or otherwise. I have driven past it many times, though.

TJL: I've worked in the city on and off so I know that streets are constantly closed off for filming. My last gig was by Madison Square Garden and I swear they had at least one street around there closed on any given week.

I can relate; When I lived in Boston, Spenser: For Hire would shut down streets, close buildings and one time even tore down a fence just to film a scene.

I do love 'Ed' though.
