Was this show really that bad, or should this show be on DVD? (Because after a season, it became 'The Phylis Diller Show'.)

ive seen 2 eps and its no emmy winner but ive seen far worse shows than the pruitts of southhampton

I think the name change happened mid-season. AFIK, this was canceled after a season.

it's a very forgettable show but there have been worse (& it wasn't a good showcase for Phyllis...who can be a real HOOT on stage at comedy clubs)

The theme song and its lyrics were the best part of this show. However,
midseason when the show morphed into THE PHYLLIS DILLER SHOW, that part of the series was gone forever. Lots of good co-stars, too... John Astin, Richard Deacon. A great premise that failed to deliver. |
