Default Wednesday's Two back to back episodes: TOP GUM & KNIT WIT OF THE MONTH

TOP GUM:
Hank believes he can run a gumball-selling business but Oscar steps in to help him with his entrepreneurial know how. Karen’s hidden talent helps solidify the businesses success.

KNIT WIT OF THE MONTH:

Lacey decides to show her cook some employee appreciation with an ‘Employee of the Month’ program. When Brent doesn’t follow suit, Wanda goes to the Ruby for the recognition she deserves.

I loved these episodes. I loved seeing and hearing Lacey's cook actually talk.

Thats two season 5 eps on the same night.....youd think WGN would space them out a little more, to make them LAST o.0

I think the second ep is the better of the two, myself ; whether Josh talks, or not (Which he does, btw )

Season 5 is much better than season 4 was , dont you think, Irene? (It was a great idea to hire 2 new writers this year....mind you, its not like they had a choice after 2 of them left to start working on another show)

I was wondering too as to why they would air two new episodes back to back. I thought maybe they wanted to attract more viewers, so by airing those two at that early hour, those who normally miss CG at midnight, can catch a glimpse of the show. Hell, I don't know, this is WGN. Did you see my post on the Gassers thread?

I loved the Davis and Lacey "flip this house" storyline. I can see Davis has more on his mind with Lacey.

yup , the new writers have decided that Davis DOES have a crush on Lacey after all and she has NO return interest!
(Have they shown "Bad boy Brent" yet? )

Yeah, remember on Wednesdays they air 3 episodes. Two back to back episodes at 5 p.m. and then at regular time 9 p.m.

wow.....Gee, immagine if CG was on a REAL American network (Nothing against WGN, but, it would be nice to see CG on a national level there)
