This is not about Hello Larry but a sitcom from the late 70's or early 80's which involved a famiily who lived in a house that was connected to a radio station or had a radio station upstairs. I recall seeing the show but dont know the name or anything else. Hello Larry also involved radio in some fashion so maybe one of you knows the other show. Thanks.

Thanks for responding
I am trying to think ... the only thing I can recall is that I think the house went right to left, and I thought the broadcasting area was upstairs. I tried internet searches but came up with nothing. My guess would be the show was on in like 1980. It is driving me crazy again now that you reminded me, LOL. I will see if anything else sneaks into my memory. |

Do you know of any sites I could look at that might have info on old shows such as this?

I know I'm responding to an old thread, but possibly are you thinking of a syndicated sitcom with Elinor Donahue called "Please Stand By"? The family had their own TV (not radio) station.

That was the show Jude. I posted this question somewhere else on the site and someone knew it. It must have been that show, but the people that were in it did not ring any bells. I would like to see a clip of it sometime to bring back some memories.
Thanks! |

I don't think that show will probably ever see the light of day again--except in the case of maybe some DVD company getting the rights very cheap. LOL.
