(Nell walks into the office nervously)


Nell-Hello I am Nell Harper-Hudson. I am so glad to be here.

Mark King- Well Nell I understand that you want to make it into the music business.

Nell- Hello I am Nell Harper- Hudson. I am so glad to be here.
(audience laughs)

Mark- Yes you have already told me that, are you okay?

Nell- Oh I am okay, it is just these damn hott flashes whoooooo!
(audience laughs) Yes, I do want to be in the music businesse. This has been my dream. And I will do anything it takes.

Mark- Well I have listened to your demo, and it sounds pretty good. But there is only one problem.

Nell- Oh and what is that?

Mark- I know you are black, but can you try singing white?
(audiences gasp) (Nell gives him a mean glare)

Nell- You KNOW(audience chuckles) I better go home and think on this, because it would look bad in the news paper, if it said, Ceo of Music Businesse, KILLED by a PISSED OFF WOMAN!(laughter from the audience) So I better go bye.
(Nell leaves)

Scene 2
(Back at Miami, where Sophia is still mad at Mother Maybelle)

Blanche-Now Sophia honey, you can not let this get you down. I mean yout friend Maybelle, has found love, now you can't be mad because of that.

Dorothy-You know MA, for once the slut is right.
(laughter from the audience)

Sophia-OH yeah, well me and Maybelles friendship is over, and when she walks in here, I guarantee you her suit cases will be right at the door, and then I will stick my foot straight up HER

Dorothy-MA!
(audience laughs)

Rose- You know this reminds me of something that happened in ST. Olaf.

Dorothy& Blanche-OH GOD!!
(audience laughs)

Rose-It was a winter night. And a man named Mr. FLUGENMURFER (audience laughs) was outside cutting leaves. (audience laughs)

Dorothy-Leaves Rose?

Rose- Yeah , people in ST. Olaf believe that grass, is what gives you gas, so they dont cut it.
(WILD LAUGHTER FROM AUDIENCE)

Dorothy-WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH MA'S ISSUE ROSE!

Rose- Well let me get to the point. The point of the story is, Grass is green, why cant leaves be blue?
(wild laughter from the audience)
Dorothy, Blanche and Sophia: SHUT UP IDIOT
(audience laughs)
(Mother Maybelle walks in)

Sophia- Well if it isnt Judas Iscariot(audience laughs) What are you doing here you scuzz ball!!(audience laughs)

Mother Maybelle- I came here to get my clothes, I am getting out this HELL HOLE.(audience laughs) Here I am living with a slut and ******, and a woman who doesnt get none, no offense Dorothy.
(audience laughs)

Dorothy- None taking you over expired senior citizen TRAMP!!!
(audience laughs)

Mother Maybelle- I am leaving to go to Las Vegas with Nell.

Blanche-Now wait girls,now you too are friends cant you try to work it out a little bit?

Sophia- I whether eat dog poop, then to be friends with her again
(audience laughs)
(Sophia exits)

Mother Maybelle- Ha, why should she eat dog poop, when she is DOG POOP!!!
(audience laughs)
(Mother Maybelle exits)

Scene 3
(Back at Las Vegas, at hotel Nell is furious)

Nell- I MEAN CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!! WHO DOES HE THINK IT IS. HE DISRESPECTED ME AND NOBODY DISRESPECTS..........

James Lorettaand Valarie- NELL HARPER-HUDSON!!!!
(laughter from audience)

Valarie- Sister I believe you should just calm down and take a deep breath.

Loretta- In other words Nell SHUT UP!!!
(audience laughs)

James- You know Nell what he did was wrong, and he could be charged for racial assult.

Nell- Well, if that is what it is going to have to take then I'll do it.
