Does anyone know why she was replaced?

In one episode it was Aggie and in the next it was Juanita.

I was wondering this myself!! I just been renting the dvds and while, I remember Fran Ryan (from when I was a kid), I was nonplussed to see the switch all these years later. Maybe I can search somewhere to find out if Fran quit or was fired.

haven't been able to find anything so far. They say that even in the book discussing the show, there is no mention of why the switch happened. Needless to say, Fran bounced back--taking over the role of Doris Ziffel on Green Acres and doing plenty of guest shots over the years such as The Brady Bunch and Three's Company.

Also Philip Brown mentions her in the interview for season 1 DVD. He does not say anything about Naomi (so, uhmmmmmmm.......Fran made a bigger impression on him! LOL)

I was happy that Philip Brown mentioned Aggie but disgruntled that he shed no light on the switch. That is also a disappointment that the book shed no light. I am on the fence as to whether to buy the book or not.

Perhaps he really doesn't know himself. Wish this forum would see more activity--kinda frustrating to be watching the DVDs and no one here to discuss things with LOL
