HELP ME!! to figure out what sitcom This Is! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

O.K..thanks for reading this.

There was a sitcom, I think on FOX..but maybe the WB

It aired in either 1997,98,or 99 i'd say. Anyhow, it was about a Family--
Mom, Dad, Brother, & Sister; the Sister being the main character. This
girl (the sister, a teenager), had some type of powers..i can't remember exactly, either she was a witch or a demon or some type of living dead girl,
but she and her little brother had some really funny interaction on the show.

It was really funny, in a dark kind of way. Similar, in many ways,
to Married With Children. I think it only ran for 1 season...if that.
If anyone can remember the name of this show, or has any ideas on
how to find out, it would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, Unhappily Ever After was like Married With Children, but I don't remember the girl having any special powers. ...Except that she dressed real skimpily. I suppose that could be a special power.

There was a little furry puppet on the show, who was seen, and heard, only by the dad. I think it was voiced by Bobcat Goldthwaite(sp?).

YAY!! I figured it out...finally!

The show I was thinking of is "The Pitts", which
aired on Fox in March of 2003 (5 episodes).

From what I found out, Fox is developing an
animated version of "The Pitts", to air in 2008-09.

I guess the girl didn't have "powers"--there were just
alot of 'over the top' sight gags that were cartoonish
in nature.

Thanks for the responses, it's a serious load off of my
mind to finally have a name for that show. It's been
in my head since i first saw it...5 years ago!
Lookin' forward to the animated version, but it probably
won't be the same without Lizzy Caplan.
