I recently purchased "MacGyver" S1 (1985-86) from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Simpsonville, and on the back at the bottom, there was a notation of "Original Broadcast Episodes." Does this mean that I purchased Paramount's rerelease of the first season's worth of "MacGyver" in an unedited version? Another clue: the discs are silver and lack images of MacGyver's tools.

well, if it says original broadcast episodes, you should be fine.
It seems like the standard for Paramount DVD's from the past year are silver with clear writing. While it is somewhat cheap and uninspired, I do like the uniform idea |
