Does anyone remember a sitcom from about the 60's casting 2 men who travel to space and have odd encounters. The theme musical lyrics went kinda like this..."It's about time, it's about space, about two men in the strangest place." I don't remember the rest. I was just a little girl and perhaps I dreamed it up.

You didn't dream it, It was called It's About Time and it told the story of 2 space travelers who got lost in time and wound up in prehistoric days. The series lasted one season and got dismal ratings so in an attempt to revive the ratings it went into reverse and sent the space travelers back to their own time along with the cave dwellers.

yea, it was created by Sherwood Schwartz ("THE BRADY BUNCH", "GILLIGANS ISLAND") and ran on CBS (wher "GILLIGANS ISLAND" was also being shown; at the same time) on Sunday nights. Info, and clips, can be found at www.tvparty.com and www.tvobscurities.com

I not only remember the show, I asked the same Q back when I first joined SO...I was about 5-6 when it ran, and I loved it!

You can easily pick up the complete series on DVD from a film chained set on ioffer. The prints are reddish but not bad quality wise.
