Several key cast members are reporting Passions will stop production in March 2008!

when did all this go down that Passions will be cancelled in March of 2008

The series won't end in March, but the last episode is supposed to be taped in March. DirecTV is cutting the airings from four days a week back to three days a week, with the remaining episodes airing through late summer.

From what I've read, DirecTV was a bit disappointed with the number of new subscribers that they hoped to gain by picking up the series. There are rumors that the show might possibly find a new home somewhere else, but these are simply rumors at this point.
