Post Who liked it?

I thought it was OK. Parts of it made me laugh, but it looked like they tried to hard to get a laugh. I dunno, I shouldve watched the Cosby Show special, but I forgot. I did watch the whole thing though, but the red headed boy kinda gave me the creeps lol. Oh, and Gloria the maid....she was on Passions right?
Out of 5 stars *, I give it....2

It was ok.I mean it had a full theme song! A few parts were kind of silly and reminded me of Roseanne on Speed.BTW thecooking segments are improvised which make them some of the funniest parts of the show! This show could last 1 or 2 years if ABC treats it well which I think they will and if they don't then expect Bonnie Hunt to host her own talk show next year.I mean if LWB gets cancelled then we all know that sitcoms aren't exactly her thing and she'll go to talk shows.I mean the talk show element was the best part of the show!

It's in no way to be thought of as a good show. It should be cancelled at the end of the season. But if it finds a audience, and since it's on a failing network it could last a while.

I thought Bonnie Hunt was funny in Kissing a Fool, but this show misses a lot. And the ending was sorta disturbing. The show has room for improvement.

I thought the show was ok but it needs to be a bit funnier next time for me to watch it on a regular basis. I think the show is trying to make Bonnie be too many things, mother, wife, working woman. I think maybe some re-tooling of LWB might be in the works in the future.

I think it's a little too fast paced. Maybe if they slowed it down a little bit (are those 'we are gonna be late for the bus!' scenes really needed?) it oculd be better. I think it's a great show, and I look forward to Tuesday nights on ABC!

I really like the show. I like the constant chaos in the show. Her entire day is chaos...first at home, then at work. I think it works and is refreshing. I also enjoy the improvised segments during her "talk show." I thought the David Duchovny segment this week was hilarious. I'm sure it'll only get better, as they tweak the show.

The second episode was better than the pilot, and it was a blast to see David Duchovney do some comedy.
He is a pretty funny guy, and since all of the talk show segments are ad-libbed, he's pretty good at improv too...

The first episode had good writing, and Bonnie was energetic, but just really didn't thrill me...and the second episode was a disgrace to television. I'm praying this show either gets better...or gets cancelled.

Thumbs up

I think the show is hilarious. I've been a fan of Bonnie Hunt for years. The scene when she was buzzed out on cough medicine and working with the craft's lady had me falling off the chair. Tony on the piano is funny as is the rest of her workplace cast.
I hope the show makes it. I think it's funnier than 8 Simple Rules.
