I found a website for Heather O'Rourke, the actress from the Poltergeist movies who died at an early age. She guest starred on a couple of episodes of The New Leave it to Beaver. Screen shots can be found here:

The first picture includes Miss Canfield. A few pictures down, is J.J. Rutherford, in the glasses. The brown-haired girl on the bottom is Kelly Cleaver.

Thanks for the info HaskellGirl. I really want to see the NLITB!!! I hate it that I was too young to know what it was while it was on! Dang!

I went to imdb.com to see Heather's filmography and read the trivia stuff about her. It's so sad that she died when she was like what, 13? And how the doctors didn't find her problem, so she died. They thought it was just the flu! How sad!

Heather had one of the most famous lines in movie history: "They're Heeerrrreee!!!" I love poltergeist! I really want to see NLITB, too! I remember watching that show in the day time when it was probably syndicated as reruns. I was probably like 5, 6, or 7 so around 1990 or so. Actually I had see that show BEFORE I had seen the original beaver. Probably when I first started watching NLITB I didn't even KNOW that there was an original show. Well, I guess I HAD to know a little, hence the title "NEW....". I don't think I was that dumb then.

Well, maybe I could have watched reruns or something, but I don't remember very much from when I was between 5 and 7, which is how old I would have been when the show's reruns were on. Even if I did watch some of the episodes, I wouldn't remember because I didn't even know what Leave it to Beaver was until about 3 or 4 years ago!
