I love Walston and Bixby as much as the next MFM fan,but my favorite is Mrs.Brown! As played by the enchanting Pamela Britton,she was charming and funny,as well as adorable.I have the third season dvd from Australia,and I dont like the way she was pushed more into the background.The majority of the episodes has her hanging around with the obnoxious Brennan,and she isnt as much involved in their lives as she was in the first two seasons.There isnt the hint of her and Martin having romantic feelings for each other,as Brennan takes over being her boyfriend.Brennan uses her as a pawn to get the goods on Martin,as in the "Stop The Presses" episode where her "sixth sense",accidently acquirred from Martin,deduces his identity.she makes Tim lose his job at the paper by becoming a reporter there.Mrs.Brown would never do that to Tim,whom she loves! I hate that episode! Martin,Tim,and Mrs.Brown were a family the first two seasons,and in the third season she was downgraded to an annoyance to them.Thats why Ill never care as much for the last season.I LOVE YOU,LORILEI!
