Does anyone watch "MY" TV? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does ANYONE out there watch MyNetwork TV? I think the programming is horrible now, not as bad as those 'telenovelas', but those reality shows they have are unwatchable, at least to me. Very poor programming.....our local affiliate's daytime schedule is almost as bad! Chock full of Jerry Springer, Maury, and every court show you can name.

I sort of wonder how long this network will last. Could it be another DuMont? The ratings are still bad. I wish the stations that didn't get CW had just gone independent instead of picking up MNTV. The two affiliates I've seen aren't appealing in any aspect, to me.

What are your thoughts on MNTV?

I don't. Then again, it's an HDTV station that's cobranded with Dayton's FOX affiliate, WRGT 45. Even if it were a broadcast station, I would not watch it.

Yeah I wish WATL here in the Atlanta area would have gone independent. Or better yet, I wish the WB and UPN never merged.

I've never watched their primetime schedule . . . I'd rather go lay down in a road than watch that. I used to watch their daytime schedule . . . they aired repeats of Cosby, A Different World, and Home Improvement, plus some others. But now all they air in the lineup is like 3 episodes of Springer and Maury, Law and Order: SVU, and some court shows.

I have absolutely no idea what our affiliate shows. The primetime sked looks hideous. I've flipped past a couple old movies and an F1 race during the day, but unless my antenna is positioned just right (over the air HD signal), I can't even pick it up most of the time.

The MNTV schedule in Cleveland is very similar to those listed above. I think I'd rather stick bamboo shoots up my fingernails than watch. I second the opinion that WB and UPN NEVER should have merged!
