Because of the times that this show was originally on and because of the channels that my family's set was able to pick up back in the day, I never really got into this show when it was in first run syndication. However, years later, I have managed to pick up a few episodes on "TV Land" and what not. I am thinking of buying the first season on DVD just to see what I have been missing. However, the main reason for my posting of this message is to find out about an episoe which Teresa Ganzel appeared. She is an actress that I have had the hots for ever since I was fourteen years old! I was "devistated" when the series "Teachers Only" did not make it. I even have an autographed picture accompanied with a handwritten leter by this lovely little lady. If anyone out there remembers the episode in which she appears, I would be "very" interested in hearing from you! Furthermore, it seems that quite a few of you have offered your opinions about the fact that the characters of big and little Earl were never brought back for this sequel. Well in regards to "Teresa Ganzel", I do remember her as a well know actress during the 80's. She was on "Pyramid" and many other programs including "What's Happening Now". She played "Nanooka" the girl from Alaska. She was on the last episode for season two during season two. It was odd to have an Alaskan campy sort of character in Watts making toast in the the VCR.

Big Earl and Little Earl were two people that I was looking for as a kid when the show went to syndication with new eps. I was disappointed when I did not see them. I wonder how a fifteen year old Earl would have felt about a nineteen year old Dee in this version of the show?

I would "really" like to thank you for taking a load off of my mind in regards to the episode with Teresa Ganzel! In my opinion, this lady is "hot stuff"! From the way that you described her, it sounds as if she was a house keeper in "What's Happening Now!!" Is that the case? Also, you mentioned various game shows in which she was a contestent. She also appeared in an episode of "Three's Company" as well as an episode of "Three's a Crowd" which was sequestial to "Three's Company". Do you remember either of these episodes? You are probably too young to remember "Teachers Only". Being that it was "very" short lived and, as far as I know, never went into sindication, you probably do not know anything about it. In any event, in this show, she played Samantha Keeting and I had a "huge" crush on that character!

As far as the situation with Big Earl and Little Earl, you raised a "very" good point! If you are interested in knowing more about what I think of that situation, you can go to the page dedicated to "What's Happening!!" I started a thread on that site and titled it "Wimp". I called it "Wimp" because I feel that the network wimped out of dealing with a "very" important issue!

I read about "Teachers Only" but never got a chance to watch it. Theresa was a housekeeper on "WHN" . I also remember her being on "Three's Company" as Greedy--uh, I mean Gretchen. She was played Greedy--uh, I mean Gretchen. LOL. I will check out the page. Thanks!

Teresa was in one episode of "Three's Company" and one episode of "Three's a Crowd" both times playing Greedy Grechen. In a lot of other episodes, Greedy Grechen was mentioned but not seen. "Teachers Only" was a very short-lived sereis on NBC and I do not think that it ever went into syndication. I would be "very" surpirsed if it ever made it to DVD! In any event, she played the part of a high school teacher named Samantha Keeting. In between then and now, she has made guest appearances in a bucnh of different shows and has also done a lot of voice work in cartoons and movies. I happen to be the proud owner of an autographed picture "and" a handwritten letter from her! At the present moment, she is fifty years old.
