Default Who's Watching the Kids?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOVV3YyXdNo

It starred a not so fat Jim Belushi(when he was not terribly heavy), a teenaged-looking Scott Baio, and Lynda Goodfriend of Happy Days fame.

Yeah I was able to sample the show in 2005 when I received one episode. It was funny that two of the characters ended up on Happy Days after the show was cancelled

Actually, the characters (Lori Beth and Chachi) were on Happy Days before, during and after Who's Watching The Kids. Chachi and Lori Beth were recurring characters in those days, so they were never written out of Happy Days. Good thing, as they would have both been out of a job had the producers done so.

I presume Who's Watching The Kids had to have been a Paramount and/or Garry Marshall production for this to have happened.

You are right, I thought this show aired in the spring of 77. I also saw the Original Title of the show was called "LEGS"-lol

Default Who's Watching the Kids

And there's a good reason for its quick
demise. The show was just plain awful.
One of the longest half-hours in TV history.

Nice clothes, Scott. I was surprised as to how young Jim Belushi was. Catchy theme song, though.

Actually, I think it's one of the reasons why I really don't like this show...

I have a bunch of them and unfortunately Caren Kaye left after a few episodes when the focus of the show shifted from the showgirls to the bratty kids. I also have the pilot as well.

So they were showgirls in this show?? Sounds to me like they were trying to revive the Blansky's Beauties premise in this show. I never got to see this show, but they do have three of the actors (Kaye, Goodfriend, Baio) from BB, so it sounds like they decided to give it another go.
