If there is Six of a kind, is 4 a pair? 1950's TV was so idyllic. Except for W.C. Fields. The mark of a true alcoholic is when a quart of Rye quenches your thirst and a glass of water sends you heaving. Whenever Fields escaped death he would always say,"And the guy pulled out an assegai and it was already lit too!" Classic scene: Watching a drunk W.C. Fields play pool like he's threading a needle. Was Rang-Tang-Tang the 1st Marmaduke? Ciriusly, I won't sleep tonight unless I know. I wrote a new poem for your entrance website and I know you don't want to hear it. Hear's how it doesn't go: "The Burns & Allen Show: It's just a coo-coo's nest, crazy with storm; like a dove-stuffed pillow prickly & worn; a veranda where Gracie swings from a vine into a kitchen where the cook only boils with wine; It's like a small room barely able to fit two; but it's funnier than marriage sharing it with these two; It's a coo-coo's nest in the B&A home-"Oh George! Run! Rang-Tang-Tang starting to foam!"

Wow that's some wild poetry Laura - welcome to the occasionally used B&A board.
