Default SCIFI's Eureka Returns July 10th!

Was anyone here a fan of the SCIFI show Eureka last year? I thought it was so good - like, really intelligent TV - and it was different from a lot of the other stuff on TV. I liked that it was as focused on the characters and their relationships as it was any of the scifi stuff.

Anyway, I read that the show is coming back and it's second season will start on July 10th! I am super psyched about this news!

Is anyone else planning to watch?

I am so glad they brought this show back for another season.

I enjoyed Eureka very much, and i thought it was one of the best shows from last year. It's a very clever show.

The word is horrible. You might want to use spellcheck next time.

Actually, you might want to try some periods too.

Here's how I would have written it.

Eureka sucks. I saw it. It's horrible.

See how much better that looks?

Do you know when the first season might be on DVD? I'd love to rewatch some of the older episodes!

But, yeah, I love Eureka. I think it is an absolutely charming show, and the characters are great - it's kind of a lighter type of Scifi that's more about quirky humor than a lot of heavier genre type stuff, which is part of why I liked it so much. I like that not everything has to be super serious all the time.

And also i love Colin Ferguson (the guy that plays the sheriff). He's so cute!

Did anyone else watch the second season premiere? I thought it was a REALLY strong episode and set up a lot of interesting stuff for the rest of the season.

I was really happy to see the events from the season finale still playing into things so strongly!

What did y'all think of it?

I agree. Great season premier, and that surprise at the end was awesome. It looks like it's going to be a good season.

Love this show. Great premise, and the acting and writing are really strong. I love how they introduce humor into the show--not too much, but just enough to lighten things up a little.

I really liked last night's episode...I'm not sure when this happened exactly but I really LOVE Nathan, I think he's so interesting, and I think he's been becoming even more complex over the last few episodes.

What I love about this show, I think, is that it's so good at being silly and funny, and also really sort of angsty and powerful. There was a moment where I really thought Allison would have to kill Fargo to save the town. I'm glad she stuck to being a leader the way she wanted to, and trusted Carter to figure something out.
