This idea has been done before! (well sorta) In 1966-67, CBS aired a short-lived series called It's About Time. Synopsis: Hector and Mac are two astronauts who break the time barrier and travel back in time to prehistoric days. Gronk (Joe E. Ross) is a caveman with his wife Shadd (Imogene Coca) In the middle of it's run do to low ratings the creators reversed the concept and sent the cavemen to 20th century earth where they tried to fit in.

I just saw the June Maxim magazine. It had a whole layout with the Caveman as a model for men's upscale clothing. I could try to upload the pics, after I scan them in.
