Default Anyone remember Second Chance/Boys Will Be Boys?

Second Chance was a show that came on in the 87/88 season and was one of Fox's earliest shows when they first started to compete with other networks. I believe it starred Mathew Perry, a real young Mathew Perry that is, and the premise was a guy that died got a second chance to come back to Earth as a guardian angel over his own teenage self (played by Mathew Perry). I guess it didn't do too well so they retooled it and changed the premise of the show to revolve around Mathew Perry and his other teenage friends. I liked the second version of the show "Boys Will Be Boys" and I wonder if it will ever be shown on TV Land or some channel ever again.

I remember the show and in my opinion wasn't that good. I think the only way Tvland or N@N would show it is if they got the broadcast rights to Friends. TVLand could do a Box Set program on shows that the cast was on before they hit it big. It wouldn't be worth it to show the sitcom on its own because it didn't last that long.

I always thought TVLand should do programming like that. Not just for showcasing all the awful shows the Friends cast have done, and believe me, there are a lot of them, but all kinds of sitcoms; failed spinoffs, one episode wonders, unused pilots. A host can introduce each show, kind of like what they do on AMC or TCM, provide some trivia about the plot, stars, etc. I think it would be a great way to showcase some old programs that people haven't seen or have never seen.
