Default wouldn;t you have preferred to see a OLDER ROB than a Older Bill on this show?

I saw no need for the guy to return who played the father, especially since he wasn't a live in father on WH, just someone who dropped in from time to time. So to see him on this show was just strange, now that Dee was in college and Raj was married and no longer a teen. I would have preferred to see rob. Anyone wished Rob was on What's happening Now?

I really didn't mind his appearence since it provided some closure to his character. They could have worked on their relationship since they both were getting older.

It would have been nice to see Rob again explaining what happened to the restaurant. This show had so many missed opportunities.

But he was not a cast member just an oassional guest who was not seen at all in season 3 so I don't think his character really needed any closure. It wasn't like he lived with Mabel the moved out, he was always out of the house

I would have preferred seeing Rob instead of Raj's dad too.

Bill was only on one episode. It was no big deal. It was good to see him and plus I think that he was more significant than Rob. It would have been good to see Rob, though.

I guess because I always seen him as a DEADBEAT DAD and saw no purpose for his character on the show on What's Happening so he really didnt need to be on What's Happening Now

I would have like to have seen more Bill but would have preferred Mrs. Thomas.

I'm still glad they did it though since we didn't get anything in the final season of the original show. I always hate how these shows portray black fathers as deadbeats (even Mabel King wanted a husband on the original series according to many articles done about her before her death).
