It's a boy-a new TC ff!!

Janet's eyes flutter open. She rubs the sleepyness out of her eyes and looks over at the bassinet beside her bed. She reaches and gently places her hand over the baby's back. She peers in. He's so small she has to lift the blanket off of him to get a good look at him. His head no bigger than a fist and his silky smooth skin is so soft, Janet can't resist. She caresses his straight and soft black hair. He has her nose and hair but everything else belongs to his father. He's got his father's eyes, mouth, hands and feet. Not to mention his name. Jack Tripper Jr. Janet places the blanket softly over him and just then Jack opens the bedroom door. He walks in slowly. He's carrying a breakfast tray and tip toes exxagerating his steps which causes Janet to laugh. He places the tray in front of her. "Good morning darling." he says and they kiss. The softness of his lips makes Janet smile and feel more awake then ever. She wispers good morning and begins to eat her breakfast.
"I really hope Jackie grows up to be as good of a cook as you honey." She says.
Jack smiles and they both look at Jackie who's sound asleep.
"Of course he will. I'll start teaching him as soon as he wakes up."
Janet laughs. "Sounds good"
Jack gets begins to get dressed. "I've to go to the restaurant for a while. I can't wait to brag to everyone that I have a beautiful baby boy and a gorgeous wife who still looks as good as I met her."
They embrace and kiss. Jack gets dressed and grabs the box of cigars off the table. "I won't be gone long." Before he walks out the bedroom door he turns around.
"Oh...Chrissy called this morning. She's coming over around noon to see Jackie and to help you."
"That's sweet but I don't need any help" Janet says.
"C'mon. I know you're a strong woman but you just came home from the hospital yesterday. I think you need to stay in bed."
Janet couldn't argue with that. She was still feeling numb from the birth. She smiled as they kissed again and Jack walked out the door.

The day Jackie turned 7 months old, Janet discovered she was pregnant again. Niether she nor Jack could believe it. Although overwhelmed, they were as happy as can be. Larry was the first to know and then Chrissy, the Ropers, Mr.Furley and finally Terri who was the last to know because she was on a trip to Hawaii visting her many friends she made there. Everyone was happy. However things took a turn months later on everyone. Mr.Roper became very sick and suffered a heart attack. He was admitted to the hospital. Mrs. Roper calls Janet.
"The doctors say he needs to stay here. I don't know what I'm going to do. Stanley was taking care of himself and was eating right." Mrs. Roper said all in one breath. She then began to sob.
"No, no...Mrs. Roper. Don't cry. I'll get my sister to watch Jackie and I'll be over there as soon as I can. Don't you worry. Mr.Roper will be just fine."
"Thank you Janet. Hurry." Mrs. Roper hung up.
After her sister came, Janet grabbed her coat and went to the bistro. She met Jack and told him the news and they left and drove to the hospital. They found Mrs. Roper sitting in the waiting room with her head down. As soon as she saw them, they both embraced her.
"Everything's going to be just fine. I'm going to talk to the doctor and see what's going on" Jack said and left the waiting room to find the doctor.
Mrs. Roper played with the tissue she had been holding. It was filled with her tears in which she managed to finally control and stop.
Janet placed her arm around Mrs. Roper.
"He's going to be fine." Janet reassured her.
Mrs. Roper placed her hand over Janet's belly. "I can't believe your almost due soon."
"Six weeks to go."
"How's my wonderful god son?!"Mrs. Roper asked.
"He's great...he's talking and walking so much. I can't believe he's one. He's so smart and beautiful..."
"Just like his mother and father...he's such a lucky kid." Mrs. Roper interrupted. Janet smiled and they hugged. She knew Mrs. Roper was trying to change the subject and not talk about Stanley anymore. Mrs. Roper kept her hand on Janet's belly. A tear escaped Janet's eye and rolled down her cheek. The baby began to kick and Mrs. Roper smiled. Janet put her hand over Mrs. Ropers.
"Everything is going to be ok." she said but it was too low for Mrs. Roper to hear.

Three days later Mr. Roper died. At the funeral, Janet's contractions began and was rushed to the hospital. Stress had made the baby come early and Jack and Janet were alarmed. , Janet later gave birth to another boy. He was 7lbs even and had Jack's sandy brown hair and Janet's big brown eyes. The next day Mrs. Roper went to visit Janet. As she walked in the room Janet smiled. She was holding the baby.
"Awww look at him." Mrs. Roper said sitting on the bed.
"He sure is. Would you like to hold him?" Janet asked.
Mrs. Roper rached out and took the baby. "What's his name?!"
"Stanley"Janet said
Mrs. Roper looked at Janet. After a long pause they both began to cry. "Oh Janet. Oh thank you" Mrs. Roper cried out as she hugged and kissed Stanley.
Jack walked in holding Jackie but stopped at the doorway. He didn't want to interrupt. "We'll let mommy and Mrs. Roper talk and then we'll come back later" he told Jackie. Jackie smiled and said "ook"
After they hugged Mrs Roper looked at Stanley. "Wow...he's so beautiful Janet."
"That's right....just like his god mother and god father."
Mrs. Roper couldn't help smiling. She could see Mr.Roper smiling at her and looking on as she was holding Stanley.
Mrs. Roper closed her eyes."I love you Stanley Roper. And I miss you so much. Don't forget to smile when you're in heaven" She said and opened her eyes. She then looked at Stanley who was smiling in his sleep.

It was a warm sunny July day. Jackie is pushing himself on the big boy swing and Stanley is playing in the sandbox. Janet and Jack are sitting on the bench watching the boys play happily. Janet rests her head on Jack's shoulder causing Jack to wrap his arm around her. She thinks how much Stanley has taken to Mrs. Roper. Whenever he'd cry, he'd stop once Helen held him. For the first 6 months of life, Stanley would only smile, coo and laugh with Helen. Stanley's first words were "Roper" which actually sounded more like "O-per" when he was just a year old. "I really hope his second word isn't "Where's the rent?"" Jack would joke. Jackie was more accident prone. He loved getting into things he wasn't supposed to or just couldn't handle and had to get Jack or Janet to bail him out. "He's just like his father." Janet joked. Janet nor Jack could believe how fast the boys grew. Almost three years since Stanley was born. "What a lucky woman I am" Janet whispered. Although she wasn't sure if he had said it or if it was her imagination, Janet heard Jack whisper, "What a lucky man I am."
