Question Reggie's absence.

How did they explain Reggie's absence? Thanks!

she slept with Becker, then left town, or something like that. I know, I know, it doesn't make sense to me either.

I just know that the show sucked after Terry Farrell left, then it "jumped the shark" again when that guy who played Bob left.

The problem is that Terry Farrell was fired from the show in the middle of the 4th season, and the writers had to come up with a reason for her absence. But what was weird is that they didn't let her finish out the season. If she had finished out the season, they could have written her out more graciously, such as having her meet someone, fall in love, and get married, and move away. But apparently the producers wanted her out as soon as possible, regardless of how akward it looked.

As much as I liked Reggie, and I did very much -- I feel the show could have taken the hit with her leaving. Bob's exit is another story. His departure was a death blow, in my opinion. The show never recovered.

Janice, I agree with you 100 percent.

The show was never the same after Bob left. Hector in my opinion was not an adequate replacement for Bob. Because Bob provided quick wit and sarcasm. He really knew how to get under Becker's skin.

After Bob left, I don't remember any of the cast members, even saying anything else about him. All of sudden Hector just appears out of nowhere.

Unlike Terry Farrell, Bob was not fired, he left on his own. I think the writers could have done a better job explaining what happened to him.

Why did Saverio Guerra leave? I read somewhere, probably on these boards, that he thought the show was on the chopping block, so he lined up another acting job. I haven't seen him in anything since Becker, which is a shame, because he completely cracks me up. Steals every scene he's in.
