But the modest gathering soon turns into a rollicking slumber party for eight. 2:30am #026 – The Juicer Cliff buys a new juicer and gives strict instructions to Rudy and her friend Peter not to touch it. When Vanessa gets a phone call and Rudy and Peter are left alone, they proceed to the kitchen and try to make peanut butter and jelly juice with the new contraption. Although Denise can't decide if she wants to go away to school, Cliff and Russell try to persuade her to attend their alma mater in North Carolina. Theo is worried about losing out on Denise's car if she goes away, and Vanessa already has plans for her sister's room. 3:30am #075 – Call of the Wild Sondra and Elvin shock Cliff and Clair when they return from their honeymoon camping trip with a surprising announcement; the newlyweds have decided to give up their respective career paths to open a camping store in Brooklyn! 4:00am #100 – The Physical Cliff follows up his "lost weekend" food binge with a day of emergency fasting for his annual blood test and physical. Despite his yeoman performance on the treadmill, the results indicate that his overindulgence in hoagies, chocolate soda and strawberry cheesecake must cease. Meanwhile, Denise isn't fazed in the least by her firing from the record company. She picks herself up, dusts herself off, orders a large cheese pie - and then gets hired as a waitress in the pizza parlor! 4:30am #132 – The Day the Spores Landed Cliff’s ingestion of a sausage hero immediately before bedtime brings on a dream in which spores contaminate the U.S. water supply (except in New Jersey) and impregnate thousands of men, including Cliff, Elvin and Martin. Theo, the only unwed mother-to-be, soon joins them. They commiserate and console each other about being pregnant, but their solace is short-lived. Contractions send them all to the hospital and into the most bizarre delivery room scene in television history! |

Actually, so far, this not such a bad month for TV Land. It looks like they got a good variety of shows and marathons scheduled for the month, unlike Nick at Nite, where they air Fresh Prince every single weekend.

Again, I am more happy with these marathons than the other 1 showper night marathons. This at least gives us a lot of variety with the shows TV land has to air. It also looks like The Cosby Show is making a decent transition, which may bother some but not me, The Jeffersons is making a very small (very small) comeback, and they are trying to use their shows as much as possible.

Wow, more I Love Lucy? That sounds good to me. How are the ratings for it? I always heard it was the lowest rated...

I hate marathons. Just show one or two episodes a day.
