Who Is Kyle XY? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

ABC Familys new series is starting out kinda slow but its still enough to intrest me, I do believe this is a sci fi series, but the story seems familiar to me, back in the 1980s there was a movie called D.A.R.Y.L with that kid that played in Cocoon (Barret Oliver) and the story in DARYL seems similar to the story in whos kyle xy, in Daryl the kid was found in the middle of nowhere with no memory of who he was or where he is from, and he was taken in by a nice all american husband and wife, soon they discovered that he had special abilities as with kyke xy but didnt know that he was a military experiment, Im wondering and I hope im not spoiling it for everyone, that this story will turn out the same, that kyle is an experiment that went bad, well I guess one day we will see.

I like this crazy show its funny and Kyle is a cutypie.

...David "Mr. Teleliteracy" Bianculli of the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS crazy, I'm sure. After he panned the series and practically gave it a scathing review, viewers watched anyway...and it's now THE most popular "new" series on ABC Family. NOW, he's starting to "warm up" to it {as was his gradual conversion to becoming a big "DEAL OR NO DEAL" fan}, and not "sneering" at it in print as much as he did before. If he could invoke "ROSWELL" (another of his favorite series) and call tonight's [7/17] episode "Roswell 2.0".....well, much as I really don't care for his lapses in judgement, I'm happy he changed his mind!

{Believe me, "KYLE XY" has "it"....what, I don't know, but it does!!!}

Isnt it amazing how when critics review something as bad and unwatchable that people do just the opposite of the critics advice, ive said this before about them that they do a good job with their reviews as when they give something a bad review everyone wants to see it.

Good news for ABC reruns...
“Kyle XY” will continue to air in the 9:00 - 10:00 PM ET/PT time period on Fridays, July 28, 2006 through and including September 1, 2006.

Well it looks like kyle was an experiment that went bad afterall, anyway I do love the show and Matt Dallas has alot of promise, its going to be good to see how his career takes off
