Hi everybody.

Does anyone know how old Goober's character is supposed to be by the last season of TAGS and the first season of Mayberry R.F.D.?

In a season one episode of Mayberry R.F.D., Howard says Sam Jones is 33. Would Goober be older or younger than Sam?

Anyone have an idea?

In the episode "Goober the Executive" from the last season, Goober says he is 36 years old. Then a short time later in the next to last episode aired entitled "A Girl For Goober", he states he is 33 years old.

However, if you was to ask me, in spite of the fact he looked older than Sam, I'd say Goober was considerably younger than Sam considering the way his mind worked...........maybe 10 or 11 years of age. Ha,ha.
