Sam Sullivan is the newest executive at TransAlliance Airways, which proves that he has worked his way up to the top of the ladder with the help of his loving and supporting family, right? Wrong! He is just a recent college graduate in his 20s living with his party animal roommates that are not even close to growing up! And that is what “The Loop” is all about.
For those that may have missed it (and I guess you may have seen an episode or two after an airing of “American Idol”), “The Loop” is (or was… you can never assume anything that has been renewed on Fox will actually come back) a sitcom that premiered in March 2006 about Sam Sullivan (Bret Harrison), an airline executive that seems to do his job well because of (not despite) his roommates that cause chaos at home, which include his brother Sully (Eric Christian Olsen), Piper (Amanda Loncar), and Lizzy (Sarah Mason). But even better than his home life are his coworkers, including Meryl (Mimi Rogers) and Darcy (Joy Osmanski). Despite all of that, the best character in the show is Sam’s boss at work, Russ (Philip Baker Hall), who is demanding and ever-so-slightly insane, but highly appreciative of the work of Sam (or “Thesis” as he calls him). Season One contains all seven episodes of this series that aired in 2006. Read our review here: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/theloop...dvdreview.html Post any questions or comments about this set. |
