Default Superman Returns Is The Movie to See

I have always been a fan of superman movies but wow this one was the best ive seen and to me was completely entertaining, the best special FX ive ever seen and has a love story to boot that keeps you wondering, plus adventure and suspense this movie has it all, kevin spacey as lex luthor was wonderful, evil and funny and brandon routh as clark kent/superman, great choice, and this movie hides a big secret for which you will have to go see the movie to find out what it is. this movie was more than worth the price of the ticket. on my scale superman returns brings in a wopping 10 1/2.

Please do not go to see this movie with the tv series smallville in mind, this movie go,s nowhere near the idea of the tv series, it infact stays close to the original superman story the way it was written, and I even once posted a thread stating that I was wondering why they didnt use tom welling from smallville to do the movie, but now that ive seen it i completely understand why they didnt use tom and totally agree with their choice.

Let me ask you a question, is this supposed to be a sequel? I ask because I saw the trailer yesterday and I heard Marlon Brando's voice in it. Now we all know that Brando is dead, but he did play Jor el in the first two movies.

I think it is a sequel and it picks up where superman 2 left off, it doesnt recognise superman 3 and 4, yes jor el is in this movie (Marlon brando) but its excerpts from superman the movie, and some of Jor els voice done by a sound a like. thats all I dare say I do not want to give anything else away. And by the way brando or jor el was not in superman 2, they showed lara who was supermans birth mother in # 2

Interesting...it is a good thing they dismissed 3 & 4 because they were both horrendous. lol

However, you will be seeing Brando in the re-edited "Donner Cut" of Superman II, included in the epic 14 disc Superman DVD boxset coming out this fall.

They are restoring many scenes Donner filmed for the second one, including stuff that was reshot or retooled by Richard Lester for the theatrical cut. I believe the regular theatrical cut will be included as well.

I saw the movie last night. Awesome!!! I think it's my favorite movie of 2006 so far. I loved it! There's so many great scenes...And I loved the music and the opening with the credits was so 70s/80s. Loved Loved Loved It! Can't wait for the DVD....I think I might see it again. Maybe at IMAX in 3-D this time...Hmmm

How do you like the way they got the flying scenes down, wow they were impresive, I understand that another superman movie will come out in 2008.

I guess I'm in the minority around here, but I didn't like Superman Returns one bit. It was a big disapointment to me.
