Hi all,
My mom just called me as asked if I would check online to find out the words to the second line in the theme song for Grace Under Fire. Ive downloaded from this site (the 3rd listed theme song for the show) and I have played it several times. For the life of me, I cant figure out what its saying. Even my teens (music fanatics) can not hear clearly what a couple of the words are. My moms says its been driving her batty for years and she knows no one who has been able to figure it out. I have tried to find the lyrics in writing......they are by Dennis C. Brown....but am having no luck. Wondering if any of you would click on the song and give me your input.....the first line is......."Can you see me walking down the street"......2nd is Beat box (??? it think) playing the (????) through my empty mind. then the rest is clear. WHAT IS that second line saying? Sounds like something foreign. LOL.....anyway....if anyone figures it out I would love to hear from you. Now I understand why it drives my mom and her friends nuts. Its bugging me now TOO!!! Have a great day. cya Song is on Sitcome Online.com [This message has been edited by Lena246 (edited 02-03-2001).] |

Wondering if anyone knows what the second line of the last theme song for GUF is saying. This is what I hear prior to what I CANT hear. From beginning......"Can you see me walking down the street, Beat box (???) playing the (??????) through my empty mind. Have no clue what he is singing. Sounds foreign to me. The song is provided on this site....under Grace under fire. If anyone can help me out, Id appreciate it. It is driving my mom and her friends nuts. And I cant figure it out myself. Thanx

I'm not 100% sure of the words either but here's what I interpreted them as -
"Can you see me walking down the street, beatbox blasting, click-track to my empty mind. Now my walkman's playing a slow and endless march and I'm looking for that bright spot in the sky." Hope that's of some help.
