The Cosby Show Reunion

The opening credits are in a basement. Sunlight is coming in through the dusty window. The theme song is played on an acoustic guitar. It shows alot of things from the Cosby Show in the basement, then, it goes into a doorway to a workshop, on the wall is pictures of all the Huxtable's.

<Scene One>
Cliff & Clair are living in a small townhouse. Cliff is in the living room calling for Clair (who is upstairs). The living room looks pretty much like the one in the old show except smaller. He goes into the kitchen, which has tile floors, mahogony cabinets, & granite counters, and goes into the yard. He stops & looks around, then, goes back inside and locks the door. He goes into the living room where Clair is and she says "Come on Cliff, we have to go get Theo". Cliff grabs his keys off a hook and they leave.

<Scene Two>
They drive through a subdivision with some empty lots near the entrance and a couple houses being built. They stop at a completed one and ring the bell, Theo answers. He lets them in and in the Living Room is Justine (they got married) holding a baby. Cliff says "Hurry up, we got to get going". Justine says "Ok, hold on a sec though". She goes upstairs, Theo locks the Back Door. Justine comes back down with a bag full of stuff for the baby. Theo grabs a suitcase and they leave. They all arrive at a house by the water. It is built on poles and has a carport under it. Theo and Cliff go into the carport and up a flight of stairs. Cliff knocks on the door and Elvin answers. He invites them both in and Sandra calls down the stairs "I'll be down in a minute". Nelson comes out of the kitchen and greets Cliff and Theo. Winnie storms down the stairs mumbling angry about not wanting to visit Aunt Denise in San Antonio. A minute later, Sandra comes down and they all get into Elvin's van. Cliff and Theo get back into the car. They both meet up at an old Victorian house and Vanessa comes out the door to the front porch. She invites everyone in. They enter into a large 2 story entry hall with french doors on both sides and a staircase opposite the door. She leads them through one of the french doors into the Living Room. The floor is covered with plastic and there are paint cans everywhere. Cliff asks Dabnis (they got married) how the restoration is going and he says "Great sir, just finished up in the Kitchen, would you like to see?". He takes cliff through a hallway and into the kitchen. It has granite counters, mahongony counters, commercial appliances, and alot of other things original to the Victorian style. Cliff tells him what a great job they did in here and Dabnis tells him their plans for the other rooms. They both go back into the living room where everyone else in conversing with eachother. Sandra asks Cliff if he has seen Rudy & Kenny's new house. He says no.

<Scene Three>
Cliff and Clair are standing outside a small house with a couple windows boarded up and a For Sale sign in the front with a Sold sticker across it. They look around the street and the other houses have overgrown lawns, barred windows, or bad paint jobs. Clair is asking Cliff if he's sure they have the right address, he looks at the house number and the street sign. He laughs and tells Clair "Well look, maybe it's better inside".
He knocks on the door and Rudy opens it. They all walk in and see the house only has one room. It has ceilings that follow the roof and exposed beams. Across the beams are a few pieces of plywood with some stuff piled on them. The house was lit by exposed bulbs and only a few windows were not nailed shut. Rudy asks them if they would like a tour. Cliff is about to say something but Clair elbows him lightly and says "We would love one". She explains that the part they are in is the living room, it has some old furniture and a black stone fireplace with ashes in it. She walks about 15 feet and open a door, a wall bed comes out, "This is our bedroom" she says. She pushes it back in the wall and closes the door. Across the room is a small table and a few chairs, the dining room. She then opens a door to a small room sticking out into the bigger one and tells them it is the Bathroom. It is small, maybe only 8 feet long. There is an old claw-foot tub, a toilet, and a wall mount sink with seperat hot & cold faucets. The tile floor is cracked. Behind the bathroom is a small kitchen, it has a wall of cabinets along the 8 foot bathroom wall with a sink, opposite that is a small rusty range and a brown fridge. She opens the back door and shows them the yard, which is only about 10 feet wide and covered with weeds. Cliff is about to say something again, but, Clair elbows him harder. She tells Rudy that it is a lovely house. They all leave and Cliff is asking Kenny how long he plans to live there. He says just until they can afford better. They arrive at the airport and board the plane.

<Scene Four>
They all arrive at San Antonio International Airport. Cliff asks Clair if she remembers where Denise said their new house was. "She said it was in a subdivision called Knight's Crossing". Cliff goes over to the coffee shop and picks up a map. He finds Knight's Crossing and they rent 2 vans and all drive there. They come to the entrance and the gate is closed, they call Denise on the speaker and she tells them the code and her address. Cliff opens the gate and they go in, after driving around the neighborhood for a while, Cliff finally finds her house, it is relatively new, 2 story and all brick. Denise comes out to the front porch and invites everyone in. She takes them into the formal living room, it has a brick fireplace, wood floors, formal furniture, and french doors leading to the backyard. Then, they go into the family room, it is a two story room with a big screen TV, surround sound, and oversized black leather furniture. Cliff tells Denise "Well, I guess the Commander's doing pretty well for himself" (Martin's been promoted twice since the series finale). Denise says "Yeah, living down here is great, it's so much cheaper". Behind the Family Room is the Formal Dining Room, it's got a chandelier, a large table with flowers on it, a china cabinet full of china and other things, and, a large picture window facing the back yard. Next, they go into the kitchen, the dining area has a country kitchen table and a ceiling fan, the kitchen has tile counters, maple cabinets, and white appliances. They all sit down and talk for a while, Clair tells Denise that about a year after she moved to Virginia (she has moved around alot) they sold the house and moved into a smaller one. Cliff says "We finally got our own house". Dabnis is telling everyone about who the restoration of his house is going when Olivia storms through the front door, slams it, and locks the door chain. Then, she stomps up the stairs, you hear a door slam and lock. The front door opens until the chain stops it and Martin is asking Denise to come unlock it. She does and she asks him what happened, before he tells her, Cliff comes in says "Hi Martin, looking good with those new stripes" (Referring to the stripes on his sleeve representing his rank). He says "Hi Dr. Huxtable, hi everyone". Denise asks him again what happened, Olivia was standing at the railing over the family room, she comes down stairs and says "I'll tell you what happened, I was in the Cafe with my boyfriend and he just comes in and drags me out". He says "They were in there kissing, I drove by and saw them through the window!". She storms back up the stairs and locks herself in her bedroom. Denise says "Dad, could you go talk to her". Cliff goes upstairs and knows which room is hers because it is the only one with the door closed. He knocks on it and Olivia says "Go away". He says "This is your grandfather, now come on, open the door". He hears the deadbolt unlock and it opens. When he comes in, she locks it again. He asks her if she's afraid of burglars or something. She says no and Cliff asks her why there's a deadbolt on the door. She says "I bought it to keep Josh (Denise's second kid) out of here". Cliff says "Ok, now, tell me what happened at the Cafe". She responds "Well, I was in there after school with my boyfriend Michael and dad drives past on his way home. He stops and comes in after seeing me and says Olivia, you're coming home with me, so, before I can say anything, he's pulling me out of the building, in front of my friends to, and he took me home". "Well, you know he cares about you and he's only doing this to stop you from getting hurt, I had four daughters and I know what can happen. You see, when Theo was your age, he would change girlfriends like you and I change clothes, your dad is just trying to stop you from getting hurt by someone like this" Cliff replies. Then, he asks her how long they've been together, Olivia says "One week but, we really love eachother". "Ok, but, still, you are 15, and, no 15 year old needs to be doing that kind of stuff, now, come on, lets go downstairs". They leave and Olivia takes a key out of her pocket and locks the door. Cliff laughs and asks her what she is doing. She says "Locking my door". "Is Josh really that strong?" he asks. Then, he looks at the door and sees several holes where screws were. Olivia says "It's not how strong he is, it's how desperate, one time, when we first moved in, he tried to get in my room by bending a hanger and trying to push the lock open from under the door". They both go downstairs and Olivia greets everyone. Then, she apologizes to Martin. Josh and his friend come up the back porch and into the living room. Denise sees them through the dining room and walks quickly over there. "Josh, what did I tell you about going in the living room!" she tells him, he says "Um, not to". "It just rained outside and there you go walking right into here with your muddy shoes on, take them off and go into the kitchen. Later, you can clean this floor". They both go into the kitchen and Denise looks at the floor, then follows them.

I have an idea about a CS reunion: Rudy finally
marries Kenny "BUUUUD", and Sandra is the Matron of
Honor, and Sandra's daughter, Winnie, as well as
Rudy's other sisters along w/ Olivia could be the
bridesmaids. One thing though, they gotta' find
SOMEONE ELSE to play Denise instead of Lisa Bonet! I
mean, come on, the girl is TROUBLE!!! I like Sabrina
Le Beauf the best! Keshia Knight-Pulliam comes in a
close 2nd! So, what does everyone think?
