No, not Quantum Leap, that was late 80's.

I can't remember the name of this 80's time traveling show I used to watch when I was a kid. It had an older man, and a kid in it, and the kid had brown curly hair and always seemed to be wearing a striped shirt. They traveled through time, and I don't know what they did in the shows, and I think the kid always had a stop watch, and I thin kthat's what they used to travel time with. I dunno, I am 25 years old, I have many vague memories of early 80's show.

You must be thinking of Voyagers! starring Jon-Erik Hexum.
