BAD show..'digital man'? i can't remember... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I tried searching (cursor, digital man) but since I don't remmeber much, I'm don't have much to put inthe search!

Late 70's or early 80's...It couldn't have lasted a whole season (awful). The premise was a computer generated guy with a computer generated car and his sidekick 'cursor' worked with a 'normal' guy...i guess solving crime or some such. Been driving me nuts, off and on, for a few years now!

Can anyone remember this show? Or was it just thrown into another show?

Blonde guy played the digital hero. Only scene I can remember was the 'normal' guy was in the car and the car did a perfect 90 deg. turn, plastering the normal guy against the passenger window...and that the hero would ask 'cursor' to go fetch him things...or something like that.

I think the show you are thinking about is Automan which starred Desi Arnaz Jr and Chuck Wagner. It aired from December 1983 until; April 1984 on ABC.

i actually liked it

the plots were ridiculous but the effects were pretty cool and the theme rocked!
