I just saw an interview with a book publisher on TV and she said that generally payments are made in thirds; a little before the book is published and the rest when the book is released.
O.J. probably got some money, but unless he had some sort of up front deal, he probably didn't get it all.
Unless Murdoch and Judith Regan gave him the money to make him go away.

on the news today they said he got like 3.5 million even though nothing's gonna happen

We'll probably never know if he got all of the money he was promised. Whatever he did get is hidden in some offshore account where the victims' families will never find it.

The sick and sad thing about this whole mess is that O.J. doesn't care at all whether or not the book was published. He was broke, he needed cash, and he got it.

well to be honest, i am sure that SOMEONE will publish the book eventually
there is $$$ to be made off it
so im sure another smaller publisher will snap it up
even with the bad publicity-- $ is still $
