Try the link to 'The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show Photo Gallery' (at the top of the page) for some cool pics. Most are from the pre-TV days, but there are a few good ones from the show.

...through the "George & Gracie" gallery, 'vedastone'.....VERY interesting pictures and ads. Some comments:
1) I guess Carnation didn't mind if the Burnses' "shilled for" (endorsed) other products in magazine and newspaper ads {i.e. the 1952 "Pur-O-Lator oil filter" ad and that 1953 "Pan-American Coffee Assocation" endorsement}, as long as it didn't directly interfere with THEIR product. Of course, that '53 coffee ad was a "perfect fit", as Harry Von Zell was ALWAYS recommending Carnation evaporated milk as the perfect "creamer" for coffee, and George & Gracie were ALWAYS seen with a coffee cup in front of them on their series! 2) The Campbell's Tomato Juice ad from 1936 was from the period when their radio show was sponsored by Campbell Soup Company on CBS- note the listing of day and time(s) for their weekly series- but the Campbell relationship didn't last too long. Would you believe they had FIVE sponsors within a five-year period {1936-'41}? Yes, for a single season each, Campbell's Tomato Juice, General Foods' Grape-Nuts, Liggett & Myers' Chesterfield cigarettes, Lehn & Fink's "Hinds" Honey & Almond Cream, and Hormel's "Spam" all had a hand in presenting George & Gracie during those five years....and ONLY after Lever Brothers' "Swan" soap became their sponsor in late 1941 did they have a LONG relationship with a sponsor....and then General Foods' "Maxwell House" coffee (1945-'49) and Block Drug's "Ammi-dent" toothpaste (1949-'50) followed as their sponsors..... 3) The color photos were beautiful....but it also showed their "real ages", especially Gracie. She didn't look too flattering in some of those.

Thanks for all the sponsor info, TVKF. And I hadn't noticed, but you are so right about the color pictures making them look older - what a difference from their b&w TV appearances - Gracie looks older on the '54 TV guide cover than she did in the last episodes of the show in early '58!
