Questions about My Favorite Martian (movie 1999) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Two Questions about the movie ( i know this is the sitcom page, but someone might know).

First, what happens when Tim (not the alien) chews the martian gum in the dressing room scene? I know it changes the alien into a human in the beginning, but what change does it have on Tim? Like, what happens specifically to him?

Second, what happens when the bad guy swallows the Martian gum?

If anyone knows either, please reply...

Way back in the early 1992 Bill Bixby was considering directing a series ending movie of the week.
I was working with him on that project but sadly his health failed and that was that.
The fantastic interplay between those two brilliant actors could not be duplicated.
While the "Disney Martian" is a bellow par try at least they gave our real Martian a small role and a nice pay check.
My Favorite Martian was a pure stroke of both luck and pure comedy knowledge as the producer Jack Chertok had cut his teeth in the MGM shorts department mostly on comedy.
Jack knew how to let actors take control and on Martian both Bixby and Walston were given latitude to try alternate versions of script segments the result was great as we all know.
