I liked Becker. I don't understand why critics hated it so much. Maybe because Ted Danson wasn't playing the role he did on Cheers. Personally, I liked Ted better as Becker than I did as Sam Malone. The ensemble was great until Reggie left. I never warmed up to that Chris character. I always thought Becker was funnier than Everybody Loves Raymond.

I'd love to see the first couple of seasons come out on DVD.

I agree. I was a huge fan of Becker when it was on the air. I also never liked the character of Chris. Reggie was such a vital character, and I hated when they wrote her out. I'd definitely buy it if it came to DVD.

I didn't know how funny this show was until it went into syndication and I had a chance to see it almost every night.

I loved the Becker television series, however, I liked it better when Nancy Travis joined the cast. I think the series suffered a little once Bob left. But it still was a great show until its last episode. It certainly is better than anything on television now. I can't wait until the series is released on DVD.

I watched Becker off and on during its original run, but I've been watching it every night for the last few months. It's a great show, very funny. Every character shines. I wish it was on tv more these days. It's on once at 1am, and I'm not always awake.

I wish TV Land or Nick would pick it up.
