Richard Long's lost show - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Shortly before he died, Richard Long had another short-lived show. He was some sort of ne'er-do-well, and it was a comedy. TVTome does not have it. Anyone have any clues?

He starred with Julie Harris in a short lived sitcom called Thicker Than Water. It aired on ABC from June - August 1973.

I seem to remember Richard Long seemed to live in a bathrobe in that show?
